Step 1. Weeks 1 and 2: Your team take the simple, online, employee survey. We give you:

  • Access to a simple, 5 minute, on-line employee engagement survey which all your team can take. (You can be set up and running within 48 hours)
  • Clear instructions to help you roll out the survey to your team. (We even provide you with template e-mails you can send to your team explaining the survey)
  • The ability to gently remind anyone who hasn’t completed the survey to do so. (You will get 100% response rate to this survey!)
  • At a glance, immediate results from the survey, broken down into 7 key areas. (Individuals can see their own results immediately – and you, the manager get to see the results as a chart, retaining anonymity, but ensuring you see where people are scoring low or high)

Step 2. Week 3. Planning the team meeting

  • We give you a template and simple set of suggestions about how to set up the follow up to the survey. (Most surveys fail at this point because follow up either doesn’t happen, or happens so far after the staff filled it in, they’ve forgotten what they put, and you don’t even have the same people in your team any more!)
  • Again, you have access to e-mail templates you can tweak and personalise, to invite your team to the meeting.

Step 3. Week 4. The Team Meeting and Action Plan

  • Access to online materials you can print off to help you run that first meeting.
  • Walk out of this meeting having congratulated your team on what they’re doing well; highlighted areas which are holding you back from working effectively as a team, and agreed personal and team goals to help you make things better.
  • Have each individual on your team take ownership and responsibility for improving things.

Step 4. Week 6. Follow up

  • Re-convene to assess progress. (And re-take the survey if you wish)
